Why Is Solar Energy Important?

Today’s subject? Solar Power. The future is so very bright for our world! Can we get another round of applause for the sun? We appreciate the life and all. Thank you very much.

Giving thanks is a daily activity at GEA. A little gratitude goes a long way.

So, what have you been learning lately about solar energy? Have you read about the need to replace fossil fuels with the use of solar power and other renewable energy sources?

It’s 2018 and our sun is the source of energy we need to take our world and all living organisms within it to the next level. The sun is our ticket to a better life and it is our duty to make it happen.

Solar has gone global and reducing the harmful effects of expensive carbon-intensive fuels at the top of its hit list. You can see it happening all around us. As we live our day to day lives, the landscape and technology being used is changing dramatically. Solar energy is and will continue to be our go-to energy source because its efficient, cheap and environmentally friendly.

When it comes to practicality, solar energy should always be first up for consideration. We have one sun that powers our entire planet. It’s been doing this for quite some time, done a marvelous job mind you, and we now have the means to utilize this powerhouse of energy on a mass scale.

The world is catching on! Here in the US, we have things happening in real-time. How incredible is it to see the enthusiasm being shown from our fellow humans and the drive to make this a reality for us all?

According to SEIA President and CEO Abigail Ross Hopper, “data shows that solar has become a common-sense option for much of the U.S. and is too strong to be set back for long, even in light of the tariffs. States from California to Florida have stepped up with smart policies that will drive investment for years to come.”

This is an extremely exciting development that we know will continue. Solar is now the go-to solution for power needs. It really is that important and we all can do our part to make this a worldwide trend rather than a selective one.

One of our daily questions here at Green Energy Approved is why is the world taking so long to catch on? Why is only a small portion of renewable energy being used if it’s so useful? Time and attention are what’s needed here to really get us over the hill. We will keep at it, what about you?
